NY LIVINGSTON — Livingston Planning Board unanimously denies cannabis greenhouse proposal. The board rejected a site plan for an indoor cannabis facility at 3461 State Route 9 in Hudson, with applicant representative Pat Prendergast and legal counsel Kristal Heinz presenting odor mitigation strategies using active carbon filtering and proposed monitoring by Adirondack Environment Services. Resident Thomas Alvarez represented 93 neighbors in opposition, citing concerns about odor treatment effectiveness and potential precedent for future cannabis operations.

Planning Board Chair Robert Bellinger agreed the project was inappropriate for the area despite commercial zoning authorization and state law allowing such facilities.
